Frederick James ALDRIDGE (1849-1933)
A marine painter, chiefly in watercolour. He exhibited at all the principal galleries from 1880 including the Royal Academy. He lived in Worthing, Sussex, for many years and was associated with the firm of fine art dealers 'Aldridge of Worthing'. Most of his work is based around the southerports, especially Shoreham
