Watercolour artist from Godalming in Surrey. He exhibited 10 times at the Royal Academy including a painting entitled ‘Gathering Primroses’ Comes with interesting history & labels. The picture was presented to "the kind matron at Roseneath Winchmore Hill - a token of gratitude for her kindness to his wounded son Jan 1917 " The artists son was named Alfred who must have been wounded in the first world war and cared for by the matron
