Henry J KINNAIRD (Fl 1880-1908)
A well-known watercolour artist in his day Kinnaird exhibited in London from 1880, mainly at The Royal Academy and The Royal Society of British Artists, and he lived for a time in the fashionable Camden Town area. He later moved to Ringmer, near Lewes, Sussex.Although he painted many River scenes, Kinnaird was most at home painting studies of the rural way of life that was already beginning to change. Many of his works were of harvesting scenes painted around the Sussex and Surrey areas. Exhibited 8 works at the Royal Academy, 8 at Royal Society of British Artists & 9 works at Birmingham
